Leanne Baily

Hello, I’m Leanne one of the newest members of the street farm team. My role as a trainee dental nurse is to support the dentist in all aspects of patient care, as well as organisation of the dentist’s diary. The dentist shows a certain amount of reliance on their dental nurse; we therefore need to have proficient organisational skills. I am able to create strong rapport with people which have been very helpful while working as a dental nurse, and I’ve been able to reassure patients who are nervous.
Before this role I have had a number a different jobs including bar work, retail and as a recruitment consultant in the education sector. However this job is the most rewarding I’ve had. Every day is a new challenge and the patients make the day enjoyable. I have always felt I’m an adaptable individual able to integrate into new environments with ease. Additionally I have been quick to acquire the new skills required to be a successful dental nurse. Outside the studio I like to play hockey for the Upminster ladies team, and during my spare time enjoy playing the piano.
As a team the dental nurses here at street farm are always on hand to help any patient that walk through the door and work as a unit to ensure the studio operates efficiently. Having joined the street farm team I’ve found that this is a dental experience like no other. During my own visits to different dentists as a patient in the past I have always found it a necessity and felt that I was just another number, here at street farm everyone is made to feel important, and I feel I’m lucky to be training in an environment like this, and working with people who will always be on hand to support me.
