Dr Sarita Sharma

Hi, my name is Dr Sarita Sharma and I have been providing dental care for patients since 1998. I received my BDS Dental Degree from Kings College London from where it was a credit to carry out a House Job in an Oral Surgery Post in St Georges Hospital and a Restorative Dentistry Post in Kings College Hospital, gaining valuable experience in removing wisdom teeth, oral surgery procedures and complex reconstruction cases. I followed this with completing exams for the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons and after completing Vocational Training in London, I have been committed to providing outstanding dental care of all aspects and facial aesthetics. I am a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), International Academy of Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
My dedication to provide excellence has led me to study advanced dental and facial aesthetics, learning from the best in the UK and USA to create beautiful and lasting smiles and provide natural facial enhancement non surgically. I have been highly trained in the field of facial aesthetics having completed training to Masterclass level taught by the leading expert who pioneered the use of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers in the UK. My passion and experience is reflected in the quality of the results I give to my happy patients. Subsequently I am grateful to have recently been recognized for this and have been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Facial Aesthetics Category of the prestigious Smile Awards, the ceremony for which will be taking place in March 2010. I am proud to be a Mentor of the highly acclaimed Training Institute where I had my teachings, aiding hundreds of other doctors and dentists since 2006 become skilled in the knowledge and practice of Facial Rejuvenation both in the UK and internationally, recently having mentored Turkish dentists in Istanbul in November 2009.
I have been lucky to hold an honourable position on the IAAFA Council since its outset, the role of which is to bring non surgical and surgical experts together, integrating the diverse wealth of knowledge present within this ever-evolving field. I also enjoy providing education and training to other dentists and healthcare professionals via seminars and work-shops in the skills of NLP and Facial Aesthetics. In the past I have lectured at the IAAFA Annual 2007 and 2008 Conferences, assisted in workshops at the Aesthetic Dentist Conference May 2007 and more recently at the IAAFA 2009 Conference and Basildon Postgraduate Training Hospital in 2009.
I am committed to life long learning and continuously update my professional and personal development both in the U.K. and abroad. My drive, ambition and energy means I strive for constant and never ending improvement. Since 2004 my enthusiasm for understanding human behaviour and psychology has led me to study and become a Master Practitioner in NLP, Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy and Temporal Dynamics, the learnings of which enable me to help patients overcome fears, anxieties and limitations in their life, thus allowing me to help manage very anxious and phobic patients. I consider myself to be friendly and understanding, excelling in giving patients the caring and personal touch, building their confidence with a calm, empathetic and cheerful approach. I love what I do and my ethos is to treat others as I would like to be treated. I am happily married to Dr Vijay Gohil and thoroughly enjoy being a hands-on mum to our beautiful boy. In my little spare time, I enjoy reading, socialising and travelling.
