Bridge

A BRIDGE is used to bridge the gap left by missing teeth and is ideal for people who do not like dentures. Conventional bridges are made by crowning the teeth on either side of a gap and attaching a false teeth in the middle so that it appears that it emerges from the gum like the original tooth.

Your suitability for bridges depends greatly on the health and gum condition of your remaining teeth, something that the dentist will obviously discuss with you.

They are fixed in the same way as crowns and are usually made of precious metal bonded to porcelain. Nowadays, with advancements in cosmetic dentistry, they can be made of ultra modern all porcelain giving them a very natural and life-like appearance, so no one would ever know you had a missing tooth.

Regarding my recent treatment at Street Farm Dental Practice, carried out by Dr. Vijay Gohil

I would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent work you have carried out on my teeth over the past few months. I consider it to be absolutely first class.

I first came here on the recommendation of my dad (who has been a patient here for a number of years) to get my teeth sorted. Previously I hadn’t been to see any dentist for a few years and I was amazed by the standard of treatment here compared to my last dentist. I have always felt at ease having treatment here and can honestly say I have felt no pain while having my teeth replaced.

I would also like to thank you for the options you gave me while I was considering having the work done. I feel that because of this I got the best possible solution to my situation. It is something I had thought about having done for a number of years and to have the gap in my teeth filled with a very natural looking bridge replacement has given me a great looking smile again and made me feel really good about myself.

In the future I require any other form of treatment I would not hesitate to come back here to have it done.

Once again thanks for the great work you have done.
